Re: RE: Re: Tips for recycling and reducing plastic use in Thailand

"Avoid any produce that is sold in one-time use plastics". What about the refill plastic bags for your shampoo? I bet they're not recyclable, or at least not recycled because it's too difficult. Probably the plastic bottles are more easily recycled. Good point! I shall investigate further.... :chee...

Re: Tips for recycling and reducing plastic use in Thailand

^ thanks... what about the cotton buds? I know you get the large wooden pharmaceutical types at the pharmacies but what about the domestic type? They must be common in the U.K. now as there is talk of banning the plastic ones. I would like to hear some more proactive responses from forum members. Wh...

I tried to use the service last night around 19:00. Took 10 minutes to get a car and a further 10mins for him to cancel on us.... :banghead:
Went with the local Khao Takiab taxi mob.

Re: Grab Coming to Hua Hin

Sounds like a good thing to me... I'd quite happily pay a few extra baht to avoid the atrocious Bangkok taxis.... Re: Driving from airport (Swampi) to Hua Hin

What are folks paying for the airport taxis to Hua Hin now?
Last time I used them (a few months ago) they were asking for >3,000thb. I know I can arrange a driver to pick me up for around 2,000thb but curious to know if others are being asked for the same amount.
