Re: Buying online from Lazada

Big Boy wrote:20฿ voucher? Is that across the board? Is this why the delivery failed entry goes into the history, when it is obvious no delivery attempt has taken place?
No idea. It appears as a highlighted message in the order progress details. Never seen it before.

Re: Buying online from Lazada

More salient would be the delivery company's name, or do shopee have their own now like Lazada. You could always call the young lady and invite her to try again. I ordered something through shopee today and it seems that shopee does have its own delivery service - SPX Express. So, delivery is guara...

Re: Buying online from Lazada

Not Lazada this time, but shopee. I don't know why, but this seems to be happening with all shopee orders at the moment (last 3, anyway). The latest incident, today. shopee.png There were at least 5 people sitting outside between 9 and 10 this morning. 4 of us were there before 8:30. I can swear th...

Re: Major Economic Issues For Thailand

Maybe the PM could start by not spending billions of baht that don't exist on hair-brained schemes that only benefits the food cartel. And on top of that hair-brained scheme.....below is part of an article by Dr. Chartchai. 1) Third, substantial repayments are due in 2024. There is 1.2 trillion bah...

... <snip> I think the key point is to realise you have six months after you retire to join the scheme (where if I understand it correctly, you need to show where you are registered. If you have the Yellow Tabian Baan Book you will be listed in the houseowners Blue Tabbian Baan book) Unfortunately ...

Re: Birds of Thailand

^^ We occasionally see them here, but not as often as in years gone by. I remember trying to catch one that came in the house. It climbed all over and in and out of the furniture. Hopefully the nests will be OK. The wood swallows have at least one hatchling. Also there's a bulbul nest (haven't been ...

Re: Speed Cameras

Today I received a further four speeding tickets for the same section of Phetkasem Road where there is a recent 80 kph limit south of Hua Hin. If I was in the UK I probably would have lost my driving license by now - is there anything similar here in Thailand where they tot up the tickets? What is ...

Re: Birds of Thailand

The wood swallow nest is on the north side of its pole, so shaded all day, mostly. The dove, though, is on its pole's south face and gets the full force of the sun, except this afternoon and yesterday afternoon when it's been cloudy/raining.

What's wrong with trees? There're plenty around.

Sodium? It's bad enough finding lithium, where will they ever find enough sodium? /sarc Do some research!! Sodium is 1000 times more abundant than lithium, potentially reducing supply chains and lowering battery costs, Tarascon says. Other advantages of sodium-ion batteries include high power, fast...
