Yes there is (ร - ro reaua), just that many Thais, especially in central Thailand, pronounce it as "l". I do agree that catching tones can be pretty difficult as aging dulls the sense of hearing. If you know enough Thai though, context usually helps.

Do Portuguese go swimming clothed? Apart your ironic remark, why not ? Maybe the choice was swimming with clothes or naked. Go to the beach and you will see Thai people swimming with clothes. How is it ironic? I know Thais go swimming clothed, but it seemed strange to me that a European would. Howe...

But mainly, it's safer. You can specify the credit limit between 0 and whatever is in the associated accoun...

Re: Kbank debit cards Verified by Visa

Maybe not with debit cards. If you want to use for internet shopping they may prefer you to use the virtual web card, which I have successfully set set up for VbV some years ago. Though I haven't done it with my current web card, which works fine without it.

Re: How can Thailand curb its appalling road fatality rate?

If road markings and traffic signs were implemented properly and according to law, without made up ones, that might be a start. It's not unusual, for example, to have speed limits changing every 20 meters or so or even contradictory signs opposite each other to left and right of traffic lanes.
