Re: Khao Tao Lake

Whilst there today, I took a snap of the South shore development. You can see the kiddies playground, and if you look closely at the building in view, you will notice the massive 'shop front style' windows instead of traditional walls. South.jpg I also snapped the very square buildings being constru...

All of that is accessible free of charge through Doo, but I prefer to buy my extra via True ID.

Re: HD Prime Internet TV ... problem?

I currently use Express VPN, but will be switching to Nord very soon because it costs a fraction of the price, and reports say it gives an equal service. Many members use it. The VPN lets you tell the network that your computer is located in the UK as opposed to Thailand. I currently use my VPN to a...

Re: Indian restaurants in Hua Hin

I'd be interested to hear how you would rate Karan Cafe versus the others ... for food not ambience. I've tried it at last (18 months on :oops). No complaints with the food - it tasted good. I was surprised that my lamb vindaloo did not contain potato (the attraction of a vindaloo for me), but I've...

Re: HD Prime Internet TV ... problem?

I would suggest a VPN for most UK TV stuff.

Doo https://dooball66s.com/ would cover most of your sporting requirements free (and as good as HD Prime).

Personally, I have a TrueID account, which is free, but I buy my sport packages via TrueID, which are not expensive, and give perfect reception.

I started watching about 5 minutes before the first goal. It wasn't too bad for me.

Re: Khao Tao Lake

Yes, I mentioned the land beside the lake a couple of weeks ago. I think that will most likely be a car park. If not, whatever the carbuncle is, there will be very limited parking. I also get the impression (at least I did when they first started) they will be putting a bridge from the car park to t...

Yes, congratulations Hot Spur. Have the rubber ducks replaced the wooden spoon? Its the first time I've noticed them.

[Edit] I've just scrolled up and seen the ducks in the post above as well. 0/10 for observation

Re: Thailand changes visa rules to boost economy urgently

I know he's not necessarily a trusted source, but Richard Barrow has tweeted: As usual, the media have jumped the gun with reports about the new visa rules including the 60 day visa exemptions for some nationalities. The details were never finalised and nothing is confirmed, including the start date...

I subscribe for Premier football, but the True Premier Football package ended yesterday. Even worse, it is looking like monthly subscription or less for next season.

Re: Thai Football 2023/24

Piss ups and breweries comes to the fore again. There has been a sudden realisation that the Thai League has run out of time to play its 2 showpiece fixtures at the end of this season i.e. The Revo League Cup Final and The Chang FA Cup Final. They have been planned to be played right in the middle ...

Quite amazing it just accelerated away with no background noise - thought I'd gone deaf (probably why he had the radio on).
