Re: Domestic Air Purifiers

I've just looked at the Coway Storm on Google, and if the reviews are creditable, it seems to be a much better machine than the Xiaomi. I would say go for it.

Re: Domestic Air Purifiers

They are essential for my wife at this time of year. I have a couple of Xiaomi air purifiers and they are brilliant. They have a constant air quality read out, and if somebody e.g. lights a fire in the vicinity, the reading shoots up and sends the machines into overdrive. Any drop in air quality sta...

Re: Which Hua Hin Area Attraction Is Your Number 1

Hin Lek Fai in the late afternoon is a quick and easy trip. I get up there most days as part of my exercise routine, and the views are usually pretty good (when the air quality is). The biggest hazard is the macaques that will climb all over the cars so best to grab a Bolt. Yes, I agree, and a regu...

Re: Which Hua Hin Area Attraction Is Your Number 1

I understand that, but I can't always eat the value of the parking, so it is just the principal for me. It is as if they are trying to force me to eat what I don't want/need. So, I just stay away. [ Edit ] I'm not seeking reward , but most establishments will reward drivers who take custom their way...

Re: Which Hua Hin Area Attraction Is Your Number 1

Please tell more about the boat ride - I'm not aware of that one. Sorry Big Boy, I guess I shouldn't have included, it was my boat. But I do see a rental boat advertising on facebook. BTW you're welcome to a ride on mine! I did wonder if it was your boat. Thank you very much for the kind offer of a...

Re: Which Hua Hin Area Attraction Is Your Number 1

It's a lovely day out, but very hard work for a wrinklie like me. I've taken a lot of 'younger' visitors over the years, and they've all enjoyed it. Personally, it is a bit too much effort for me to do the walk these days.

That makes more sense, but 'floating' is as described in local English press.

Re: Which Hua Hin Area Attraction Is Your Number 1

Since I have no friends my only visitors have been my daughter and her two boys. Highlights for kids may be different than for adults and with kids we didn't do much in the way of temples or places two young "active" boys would not be welcome. The highlights for them pretty well all invol...

Re: Which Hua Hin Area Attraction Is Your Number 1

The vineyard was always a regular place for me to take visitors, but I stopped when they announced a parking fee. I know you can get it back when you purchase food, but I can't always manage that much food. We all used to end up in the Sala, and would invariably spend, but the fee simply turned me o...

Re: Songkran to become 1 month festival

So, what's it going to be in Hua Hin? I read a few days ago that Hua Hin's Official event would be 11 to 13 April, held at Pae Mai Floating Market. I presume the floating market refers to the intensity of the event. I've just read Bluport will be staging their celebration from 13 to 16 April. Methin...

We recently had a few relatives visit, just for 5 days and here's where we took them: - Siam Venezia - Turtle Bay restaurant - Kao Tao Lake/Shrine (after dark) - Memory House Cafe - Kings' Statues (Rajabhakti Park) - Marriott (Big Fish Restaurant) - Monsoon Vineyard/Elephant Sanctury - Chocolate Fa...
