CT Scan guided celestone chronodose injection
Good Morning Folks Hubby has developed a very dibilitating case of sciatica and recently had an MRI at Bangkok Hospital. The results showed significant nerve root compression on both the left and right side at L4-L5 with stenosis from L2-3 to L5-S1. He was prescribed anti-inflamitory and pain manage...

Re: One way Ticket and Visa Non-OA (Extension of stay based on retirement).
Agree with previous posters, we have never had a return ticket; however, we were questioned at Darwin Internatiinal one time and we showed them our 'extension of stay - based on retirement and It was referred it to a senior staff member who agreed that we didn't require a return ticket. All the same...

Re: Retired with wife under 50 - what visa for wife?
Hi Folks
Can anyone tell me what the process is to change from retirement to marriage, so that I cam piggyback on my husband's retirement visa? Financially it would be helpful, rather leaving B1.6 mil sitting in separate bank accounts...thanks in advance.

Re: Another Aussie saying hello...
Hi JagFX Hubby & I (also younger retired Aussies) arrived here 2 years ago and came with similar intentions...a great base to explore SE Asia. Thus far we have managed to roam far and wide, although probably not as much as we originally thought we would, because I decided that I would like to le...

Re: Hello from Australia
Hi Trish Welcome. I am relatively new having landed here 6 months ago with my hubby. So being new I have very little advice to offer. The one thing I would do is bring an International Drivers Permit, which we got from RACQ (your state's motoring body) as this makes it heaps easier to get a Thai Dri...

Re: Royal. Pavilion hua hin
We stayed at the Royal Pavillion in March and found it to be clean. Not close to the beach, the night markets are an easy walk, and there is a fairly cheap laundry nearby. Would we stay there again? Yes, as it is well priced.

Thanks folks for your words of welcome. We are enjoying the start to our retirement here in Hua Hin, although still trying to find a house. Hopefully we will resolve that in the next few days. Again thanks

Hi Folks - Just arrived
Hi All I must first confess to having been a bit of a lurker on this forum for some time, and have really appreciated all the information I have gathered. A big thanks to everyone. Hubby and I have taken an early retirement to get out of the hum drum of everyday work to buy the things we don't need....
