Re: Sulphur smell from tap water

Googled of course, before asking.
The smell appeared only today evening. We are staying here from January this year, and many years before, but only today the smell appeared.

Sulphur smell from tap water

Hi everyone, We stay in Blue Lagoon (next to Sheraton), between HH and Cha Am. Today at about 19.30 the tap water got the strong unpleasant smell - sulphur or something... Is it typical? Has someone dealt with it? I will inform the reception in the morning, but for what would you recommend for now? ...

Re: Wuhan Virus Precautions

No. I only pointed out that the visa exemption is on a different basis. The report about suspension is obviously wrong in its detail. Russia only had 20 cases of covid-19 as of today so it doesn't seem reasonable to suspend the visa exemption. So, either the Bangkok Post is wrong or the government ...

Re: Small favor needed - posting belongings to Chiang Mai

Sure, you all are right. Kerry needs the measures of the bags for the boxes. I actually need a person to measure and call for the Kerry car. The problem is the host herself is in BKK, but she allows the condo staff to open the door and take the boxes to anyone I name.

Anyway, thanks.

Small favor needed - posting belongings to Chiang Mai

Hello to all! For many years my family've been spending winter months in Hua Hin. But not this year. This year we are going to Chiang Mai. That is why I would like to ask if anyone among noble forum dwellers could do me a small favor. I need someone to pick up my belongings that we left with the hos...

Yes, please, repeat the coordinates. Want to show this for kids. After we saw the flying foxes leaving their trees in sunset in Australia, they will surely love it, too.
Is umbrellar the must? ;) it saved us in Australia from droppings ))

Re: Sheraton Hua Hin - Holiday from Hell

I've stayed in that Novotel for couple of times, whet it was Marriot. Not bad, and if it is quiter than Sheraton - that is the hotel of choise. By the way, if some of you have to stay for a night in Moscow Domodedovo airport - Novotel is a good option.

Re: Thais rank low again at English

I've been learning English since school, plus very intensively in the University. But I started really speaking English only when travelling. The need to express yourself in the fireign country makes you speak. That is why I still can't speak German inspite of some attempts of studying this beautifu...

Re: Selling price of cds?

Imho, dvd - doesn't matter original or copy - would not go for more than 50b each. If you pay 200 for three in MV, and 200 for four in some markets - used dvds would not sell for more.

Re: Some Thais' perception of foreigners

Misconception of other folk and country is fair for people from all parts of the world. Especially for young ones. More especially - if you stay your first 20+ years in your motherland location under your parents' helpful wing. According to my personal observations, young people nowadays are much mo...
