Re: Water truck

We are near the Banyan golf club. I thought all our troubles would be over when we got connected to Pranburi Water however for some reason it went off last night. I caught the water truck when it was in the development an hour ago ----400 baht for 2 tanks full.

Thanks for your reply

Re: Venues will now need licence for playing darts

You could not make this up,weird beyond belief. As Vital Spark mentioned cock fighting above. I recall my partner telling me about cock fighting in her village, when I asked why the police did not stop it she patted me on the head and with a sympathetic look informed me that is was held at the local...

To answer the original question. An older population with a social scene that makes it difficult to stop smoking (and drinking).

Re: Investment Rates

I've been feeling that this year feels very similar to 1987 which had a very strong start then a sharp sell off in June if I remember correctly then the " melt up"" followed by a large melt down in October. The market however ended the year back where it started. I would settle for a re-run of that ...

Re: Authorities set to charge for car parking on public roads

More car parks will have to be built and motor bike parking will have to be organised.

Iomuamart's pipe dream is one of the reasons many of us come here. The private companies that enforce parking fines are what you may call over zealous.

Re: The ever-improving state of Hua Hin's roads

What amazes me is they resurface a very nice road, then 6 months later start digging it up again, putting in drains or whatever, then end up with pot holes and bumps the same as before..This is not unique here it happens everywhere :) Especially Aberdeen, apart from the fact that the roads are not "...

Re: Hua Hin's most dangerous pedestrian crossing

All the pedestrian crossings are dangerous here, both to the pedestrians crossing and to the drivers, they need to put proper lights on them so when a pedestrian wants to cross they press a button and green light comes on with a figure walking and red lights stops traffic or better still bring back...

Re: New Year's Vehicle Accidents - 2018

I'll make this a little clearer. The limit in Thailand at which you will be considered a drunk driver is 50micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. And yes you blow into the machine, one long slow breath. The level falls to 20 if the driver is without licence or already banned. The level ...
