Re: Govt plans Pattaya - Hua Hin/Cha-am ferry link

^^^^ I agree completely, we always stay just south of monkey mountain, it's quiet, perfect for our family. I'm just about getting used to the work they're doing now, was not happy when we arrived as it is an eyesore on what was a wonderful view from our hotel. But the thought of ferries coming in an...

Re: Govt plans Pattaya - Hua Hin/Cha-am ferry link

Sounds about right to me, I certainly wouldn't fancy the crossing in something unsubstantial that's for sure.

Re: Govt plans Pattaya - Hua Hin/Cha-am ferry link

I asked the owner of Nam seafood restaurant today, which is right behind the site. She says it is going to have small boats/speed boats that will go to Pattaya, but not ferries as the water isn't deep enough to take anything larger?

Re: safety deposits in the room

^^^^ I agree, we've stayed in quite a few places where I've had to make them actually fix the safe down, otherwise as said, you could pick it up, put it under one arm and walk out with it.

Re: Safe and clean TATTO studio

You pay for what you get, there are cheaper dirtier places with bad artists all over.

This place is very clean with two great artists, they're not the cheapest, but neither are they the most expensive.

I've had dengue fever, it's not good, I'll take my chance with Deet, although I do agree it can't be good for you if used often.

Re: Safe and clean TATTO studio

Hi

You should check out Monkey tattoo on Soi 57, there's an excellent artist called Luang, shop just opened this year. Very clean in comparison to some of the others, great artwork.

Cheers

Re: The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2015

Hi JD, I just thought I'd let you know, that our 9 year old son had to write about a poem he liked for homework. I showed him the poem you posted above, he wrote the poem out and explained about what had happened to his great grandfather in Thailand during WW2, and our visit to Nam Tok/Kanchanaburi ...
