If money was no object, why on God's earth would you go for one of those? Just a question... :?
It looks like a supremely civilized way to travel in to me and why would you want to drive if you can afford not to?

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

I was reading some BYD promotions for Thailand yesterday and they were offering a free charger installation for your home. As for MG EVs, I'm increasingly seeing them being used as taxis here in Luxembourg which is interesting because when I first came to work here, nearly every taxi was a diesel Me...

Re: Menu/food prices rising in Thailand

^I suppose that imported food sold in Thailand is seen as something of a luxury so is priced accordingly. Back where it came from, everyone is buying it so it's much more price sensitive.

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

^It would make more sense to me if it was a plug in hybrid with a realistic electric driving range, so you could use it for local driving as an ev and long range as a petrol car but the one I saw wasn't, it was just a hybrid.

Re: Dubai airport (DXB) flooded

I used to work in the region and witnessed some fairly drastic storms, but these were normally in November or December so no doubt another link to the impact of global warming. This is a strange one. Nissan "Kicks". Converts fuel into electric power, but never used to propel the car? I'm a bit confused about the technology and need to study it more. https://en.nissan.co.th/vehicles/new-vehicles/new-kicks.html https://en.nissan.co.th/vehicles/new-vehicles/new-kic...

"The price war is an obstacle in the EV market as it causes unstable car prices, making buyers hesitant," said Wallop Chalermvongsavej, managing director of Hyundai Mobility Thailand.
I'm all for price wars, another 100,000bt off the Atto 3 would be nice!

For the price it’s a lot of car for the money but they also do a single motor with about 300 hp - performance is still good but cheaper to buy? If I was to buy one today, I'd go for the Atto 3 but I'll probably be looking at early next year and everytime I go to Thailand, there are new models out so I'm staying flexible. I was recently talking to someone who has the 500hp Seal and they were impressed with it but it's way too much car for wh...
