Sorry, schoolboy error! the clue was in the word Embassy!

thanks to both, Bigboy refers to British Embassy but in my case im far too young(!)to apply for Retirement Visa in UK as have to be 65(or married to to Thai) so in my case its a Thai application only! I will assume if have the 800k i'll be ok but in any event its not needed for my forthccoming winte...

Ok all you Visa Gurus, Sorry if this has been covered before(i did have look :wink: ) but im confused by two different sets of official thai info(! :? ) On the thaiembassy site it says 800,000 bht OR income of 65000 month.But on an info form i got from HH immigration it says i have to have BOTH 800,...

Sorry but just be clear ...whilst covering the keyboard is clearly very good practice, the 'robber' not having your PIN does not protect you from theft/issues. Credit card but acts like a debit card so all the same. Several debits to card in Bangkok(7 eleven s) first time then India second time. my bank got suspicious so stopped card. It also their opinion that that ATM machine is compromised. With hindsight I was at fault for using it again... Lesson lear...

ps i thought it was just all the numbers they needed to try rip off, & that's why they try to use the magnetic strip machines and not the chip&pin. if they had got PIN no. they would have done a lot more damage. They make dozens of attempts just to try and get the odd one through....allegedly!

can anyone recommend a really good doctor for an as yet unspecified injury between elbow and wrist, so an upper limb doctor/surgeon is what im after i guess? can look on google but if anyone has had personal experience all the better, tried fixing in UK but waste of time, if they don't see a broken ...
