I am interested in your experience with accoms there too, arriving Thailand Feb 26th, plan to settle in for at least a month or two in Hua Hin area... also hoping to take up golf again, don't care if the course is rundown...

in my 8 trips to Thailand I have met many people who have been bitten by dogs, and even cats... I don't want to have to go through the rabies shot process... one poster here mentioned just bending over and pretending to pick up a rock will ward off most of these wild dogs, I have heard this before.....

that's a great set of clubs and a great price, wish I was there! coming at the end of February, if you still have them I will buy them!

gruesome accidents and injuries/deaths every day all over Thailand... most from mini buses and motorbikes... and the Thais like to post pics and videos of it so this doesn't seem to be a deterrent... I plan to get a motorbike when I settle in Hua Hin... maybe... and if I do, I will be wearing shoes ...

stayed two nights at hotel near pier, on soi 57... coming back late Feb / March to live in the area. lots to learn!!!

Hello all, Planning on renting apt/condo near beach somewhere in the general vicinity of Hua Hin, arrive Feb 26 to Thailand, so probably going to rent sometime in March, maybe hotels for a little first while dealing with O Visa stuff in Bkk, finding a good spot etc... Coming in on a one way ticket, ...
