Re: Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet Thursday 26th Nov.

Thanks for replies.
Marriott says their business is 90% asian and a buffet with the fixins we like are not big sellers to that market!
As for Sofitel thanks for the heads up but the Thai wife doesn't like set menus of Farang food.

The watch for a Thanksgiving buffet continues!

Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet Thursday 26th Nov.

Anyone know of any Thanksgiving dinner specials, preferably a buffet. I think I've called every major hotel especially those that have had dinner specials in past years, none have anything going on. Got a hankerin' for turkey and stuffing! HELP!

Re: Buffets in Hua Hin

My wife and I eat out and splurge for one of these buffets once a month. We live a little further South in Dolphin Bay. Lucky for us that, in our opinion, and we've hit all of them from Cha Am to Prachuap Khir Khan the best breakfast buffet is in PakNamPran at the Evason. The breakfast is 650 Baht a...

Re: Bringing 110v electric appliances to Thailand

Moved here 5 years ago from US. Brought 5 step up xformers with me based on someone's recommendation. He suggested that the most important issue is not overloading them, be careful with appliance wattage. I have run, for over 4 years now; two refrigerators, TV, stereo, kitchen appliances, hand tool ...

Re: Online Ordering - a sign of the times?

The major players like Lazada and Amazon have deals with the manufactures that in order to be represented by them they must take returns back for repacking. For a manufacturer it's a small price to pay for global exposure!

Re: Online Ordering - a sign of the times?

We purchase existing centers we feel we will be able to retenant (not very often). Malls fail because of the tenant mix for the most part. The consumer ultimately decides what succeeds and what fails. If looking at a failed property you better be sure you have "new in market" tenants up yo...

Re: Online Ordering - a sign of the times?

Without question I'm biased! But not emotional enough to let unsubstantiated observations get in the way of good business decisions! JCP as a retailer has been holding on by finger nails for 20 years, stores that they are closing most likely average 30 years old, they are tired 3rd tier losers that ...
