If you have no luck finding spare parts, or a good local repair shop, you could always try Amorn, there are quite a few located in different areas of Bangkok, but the biggest and original shop is in The Old Siam in Banmo in Bangkok. I'm always amazed at what they can repair, and at such a good price...

I would imagine that they are restricted by the same licensing hours as booze shops.

No alchohol can be sold between midnight - 11am, and then again between 2pm - 5pm
