You are dead right, can’t even find a flight anymore. Bit hard to fathom when the flights were always full.
Looks like you have to go via Melbourne or Sydney if you want to fly Thai.

Re: Thailand tourism situation
Having just returned to HH I can say that the whole city is back to normal with most services back in full swing. Market Village was bursting at seams with both Farang and locals alike, Blue Port looked as it always has, a bit of a ghost town. Good luck to the authorities with policing the songthaew...

Re: Thailand tourism situation
We have just flown back into Thailand and what a sorry sight was Suvarnabhumi Airport was - luckily no queues anywhere and through in a flash. But the sight of tired and faded Thai aircraft parked and obviously out of use was very sad. They were everywhere. We had to fly through KL to get here and w...

Re: Good Restaurants
Go to Trip Advisor and look at the best restaurants in Hua Hin - it is pretty spot on. There are not too many restaurants that aren’t good.

West94 Pub
Can anybody tell me where this restaurant relocated to. The last I saw was an indication that it was located at VM, however, went there tonight and no restaurant and nobody at VM had a clue where it was located.
Would appreciate any information as the ribs there are very good.

Re: Flight to Thailand bargains
Seating Arrangements Just about all airlines are offering great deals on flights to Thailand. Points to either/and a slump in tourists heading for Thailand but also with the newest planes flying to Thailand it is much cheaper for the airlines to fly, lighter planes use less fuel etc. On our most rec...

Re: Demolition of restaurants + shops in Poon Suk road
I have returned to Hua Hin after a seven month break and cannot believe how dead and buried the place is becoming. I know this is Thailand and logic isn't the greatest quality of Thai officials. Everywhere I walked, including past the demolished Moon Smile Platoo etc, was eerie with hardly any activ...

Re: [ADVERTORIAL] Thai Expat TV
I have the same issue on the Premium Expat. Says a particular program is on and it is not. Happens all of the time and frustrating. I contacted the Expat TV people and they said sorry but that is what they are sent so they have little control over the content.

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall news and updates
Wife wanted to have a look at Bluport, so off we went on Saturday afternoon. It was not an enjoyable experience because of the loud music and the large number of shop spruikers trying to outdo each other. Lots of people ogling the surroundings but couldn't see too many spending any money. I had a lo...

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall news and updates
I have been downtown a few times today and it is already chaotic on main road outside Bluport. Cars double parked in Soi 102.and traffic at a standstill. Doesn't anybody plan these things through when building such a large shopping mall. TIT mentality just defies logic.

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall news and updates
Just drove past and everything seems to be well advanced. It looks impressive with a landscaped entrance. However, I cannot see any evidence of planning for the expected large number of vehicles that will bring the shoppers. Soi 102 looks like a traffic jam waiting to happen. Not to mention the main...
