I asked a colleague who was born here (Portuguese) and she said that the rainy season in May/June sees a lot of constant rain, which is different from Thailand. Or at least in the parts of Thailand I have lived. So it's not just heavy showers.

Also beer and whisky is not that expensive here. That is in shops, bars are not cheap. They are mainly found in hotels.wine being a fraction the price of in Thailand

But aren't you included in that group that gets 144 hours visa-free in certain cities (mentioned in the story).Visa-free travel is for Thais, not gweilos! They're much stricter with US and UK passport holders.

When I went to Zhuhai for the first time, with an visa-on-arrival, they did all the fingerprints and photos on the border.

The reform should start from the teacher training institutions. Otherwise, it will be very difficult to change the attitudes of the teachers, for example, if I give poor grades, I am not a good teacher or if the students ask me questions, I have not taught well.
