Re: Which Pick-Up Truck?

Speaking as someone who has sold cars and pick-ups for the last 30 years for a living. Avoid the Chevy at all costs- As soon as they pull out of Thailand the availability of spare parts will be a major issue so the warranty is not worth much. Mitsubishi Triton- This is almost bulletproof, Great reli...

Re: Which Pick-Up Truck?

How has the reliability been for those who own a Ranger and covered a larger mileage. I like the look of them and they are my first choice at the moment but not sure if the engine will match the Toyota or Mitsubishi for reliability over a longer period.

Re: Hua Hin City 2018

Looked a good game. The offside goal decision looked a bit harsh and one off the crossbar ,Could easily have been a draw. The team look as if they are playing some decent football and just need a bit more luck in-front of goal.

BB any more whispers about the state the club are in financially ?

Re: Possible land purchase 2.5km outside HH centre. Planning to build houses. Advice please.

Takiap has given you almost the exact same piece of advice I was going to except I know you planned to move to Hua Hin and set up home, but as the massage business is in Bangkok and as you say makes a profit. I would suggest the following. Rent a cheap townhouse which there are a lot available from ...

Re: The Peril of Bar or Restaurant Ownership

I would agree that Bars are generally a bad investment. Far too many new owners fail due to the same things which have nothing to do with rent rises, Most might have been on holiday a few times and met the girl of their dreams in a bar. They have sat in a bar drinking and have maybe seen the owner s...

Re: Legality of property agent email correspondence

Sorry, but a contract by email if agreed by email or any other electronic means, is binding both here and in the UK. I would guess other countries are similar. In Thailand there is the Electronic Transactions Act to cover such eventualities. Both here and in the UK, a contract must be clearly agree...

Re: Legality of property agent email correspondence

If no formal contracts were ever signed there is no legal contract in place, the email trail is not binding and would be considered in law as an invite to treat and are in no way a formal contract. As many have stated already if the agent is threatening the idea of legal action do not worry too much...
