Re: Download immigration forms

3 years on since last post regarding Immigration Forms.
This is the best (lately) I've stumbled over: http://immigrationbangkok.com/thailand- ... ion-forms/

Nonsense. I waited thinking that an on-topic response might emerge.

Re: Mulling over different Visas ....

Thank you folks for pretty well nothing in terms of my original query.
Somehow it turned out to be something about "mandatory health insurance" ... regarding which I never asked about, and regarding which I am already knew of.
Bloody waste of time.

Mulling over different Visas ....

I've been happily living Hua Hin for 13 years: my first visa, and last visa, was a Non-Imm O-A and after that it's been 12 month Extensions all the way. In the beginning I was 60 years, healthy, a great Thai partner and retired. Bliss all the way. But now I have reached 73 and medical issues are slo...

Re: Health insurance now mandatory for long-stay foreigners

"For those that bother to read the earlier posts on this thread, it’s quite simple: ... health insurance is required if your original visa was a Non-Immigrant O-A . ... It is not required, currently, if your original visa was a Non-Immigrant O . ... " [/i] Thanks Scout, that's it in a nut...

Re: Health insurance now mandatory for long-stay foreigners

This question is triggered by the newly-bred Immigration need for folks who have entered Thailand on a O-A visa ~ that would be me ~ and it seems that now those who did so apparently have to cough up Thai medical insurance. So here's my query (not having noticing it since initial entrance in 2009). ...

I'm assuming it's HH immigration . . . I've lived here for almost 20 years and never had a problem with the staff at HH immigration.
Ditto from me at 10 years of quite decent treatment at HH immigration. I sniff some exaggeration.

Re: 'How To' - Requirements for visa extensions etc

2. A copy of my tenancy agreement and hand drawn map to the house. Congratulations ... a pretty seamless procedure. In my case also ~ just a week or so earlier ~ the map was all they seemed to be interested in. I had a tenancy agreement with me as well, but I just left it in my folder never to be r...

" ... Certainly unlucky, caller. I went at 11am and only one in front of me ... "

Possibly the poll results now showing 74% of ex-pats who are thinking ~ or actually doing ~ of getting out of Dodge fairly quickly. That metric tends to lower the crowds at Immigration. :rasta:

Re: 'How To' - Requirements for visa extensions etc

I went in the afternoon and it was standing room only. Bad luck for you I guess. Actually I went to the Immigration office twice. On Thursday we were coming back from Bangkok. We went the by-pass way so I could pick some forms I needed. We got to Imm about 2pm, and when I was in there was only one ...

Re: 'How To' - Requirements for visa extensions etc

I promised some time ago that I'd post my experiences at HH Immigraton when I got my annual Extension as the new rules certainly get folks into a tither. So that happened yesterday, and here's my story: Where did this happen?: At the newly opened Hua Hin Immigration Office. (That being the 5th home ...

Quality floor tiles in Hua Hin ...

Home Pro and Boontarvorn each have loads of floor tiles ... if one is looking for whites, creams, 250 different shades of grey and brown. But to find most other colours is a frustrating quest indeed at those places. Shades of greens, blues, even the right reds I'd like to look at. Anyone know where ...

Re: Some Bangkok Embassies to stop Certification of Income Letters

Thanks TBWA and TOM. Sounds to me very positive experiments regarding my query. Seems the Norwegian and Canadian Embassies are on the same train as one's latest Tax Return being the Best Go-To to successfuly receive the Income Letter. Now let's hope Thai Imm will feel the love and send me home with ...
