Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport

It's quite surprising to me that people were skeptical about it, since I said that Blueport itself was supposed to be doing extensions and provided even a link. Glad you don't have to go too far. However, please lets not get too precious about it. Originally the BluPort office on first opening did ...

Just did my 90 day. In and out in 5 minutes. Services they provide are:
Tourist visa extension
Reentry permit
90 day
Well well there's the answer to Kangaroo's question. Looks like tourist visa extensions are provided at BluPort.

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport

Yes, they still have a photo business going on. It's probably not a bad idea I suppose given that huge numbers of farang always forget photos, as they also do with getting the forms straight. My opinion ( not scientific  ) is that about 70% of the long queues are because of farang screwing up ...

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport

My version of Google maps shows up as Soi 35 being the Thai Immigration Office. As it should. https://www.google.co.th/maps/place/Immigration+Office+Hua+Hin/@12.596058,99.9517709,17z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x30fdaa66ef06cf43:0x4e1d998b223e29cd!8m2!3d12.5999426!4d99.9540025?hl=en For petes sake ... grab a m...

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport

The Imm is on the 'basement' floor along with the banks and food court. Just take the escalator down (the one which is staring you in the face if you enter through the streetside main doors) and you can't miss it along the wall where the banks reside. You don't need a web site to figure it out. Ther...

I'm pretty sure re-entry permit is 1900 baht, and as mentioned below, Multi Entry 3800 baht.
You're mixing up the 'Extension' fee (1900B) and the "Re-entry" fee (1000B).

Re: El Toro Loco bar closed?

Just an anecdote: A few nights ago I was playing a friendly game of pool with one of the staff at the Soi 80 version of El Toro. I asked him about the apparent move to Soi 94. He said " yes that's right ... in about 2 weeks to open ". He also said they will be closing this Soi 80 bar. (Damn! I liked...

Re: El Toro Loco bar closed?

Redzonerocker ... more I didn't know: that El Toro and El Toro Loco are owned by the same person. Regarding the possible move to Soi 94 from Soi 80. Do you mean that the Soi 80 version will be shut down after this move? If so, the only comment on that would be that the owner has already put in (what...

Re: Soi 80 Walking Street?

And you're point is? Not quite sure whether your post is relevant to what I posted above. Can you enlighten me? Anyway, if you are so perturbed ~ I'm not ~ regarding Bintabat bar owners not benefiting from experimention why don't you do a survey? I'm sure they will just salivate over you and your pe...

Re: Soi 80 Walking Street?

The walking street is closed now on Soi 80, and has been for about 6 weeks. No facts about it's life after low season ... different views on what will happen in November Some think it will reappear, some think it's a goner forever. FAIR WARNING: HEARD FROM A BAR OWNER: When it first started it was a...
