Re: Houmous in Hua Hin?
Found the houmous in Market Villa, along with a huge amount of other interesting and tasty things from the UK. Though prices are certainly high, managed to spend 5k without much to show for it. Thanks for the advice and help. My daughter is happy with her houmous. Sent from my SM-N9500 using Tapatalk

Have you tried the Gourmet Food Court in Blueport? I don’t know that they have it there but probably the most likely place in HH.[/quote]
Yes. They had none at all. That is where I would have expected to find it.

Houmous in Hua Hin?
Good morning all, spent the last couple of days seeking out houmous for my daughter. None of the big supermarkets seem to have it. Or even Tahini, the key ingredient to make it. Has anyone ever seen Houmous in Hua Hin, and if so where?

Re: Burgers & More
The most pathetic burgers I had ever seen and to make matters even worse, they cost about 7 times more that what a real burger cost back in SA. I lived in Durban from 1990 to 1995. At the end of what was once West Street there was the best burger shop I ever found. They had this monster bur...

Re: Fish and Chips
Yes, I heard that there is a good fish and chips by the train station.
Failing that, what do others say is the best fish and chips in Hua Hin.

Fish and chips
We had the fish and chips at Buffalo Bill's. Really good with mushy peas and a pickled onion. Even wrapped in newspaper. I heard there is another really good location up by the station for excellent fish and chips. Have tried searching but had no luck. Can anyone advise? Cheers Sent from my SM-N9500...

Re: RE: Re: What are the TV service options in Hua Hin.
This is why I supplement with Teatime TV - it works, unlike many of the Android solutions, which drive me mad with the buffering problems. Well, I have just wasted a morning here in the office with that Teatime TV. I watched Posh Pawn and Egg heads. Brilliant that you don't need a VPN, even from th...

http://teatimetv.to/ Consider yourself loved forever, and it's free. I also have AIS who do decent Internet and their Platinum TV Package, which gives more TV than anybody could watch for as little as 799 Baht/month. Thanks Big Boy. That's fantastic. Appreciate that loads. I shall get AIS when I ar...

What are the TV service options in Hua Hin.
Are there satalitte or cable providers? While we are British, we have been abroad for years so used to not having decent TV. At the moment I have a satellite dish that gets Myanmar channels of HBO and all the other similar. Kids need the cartoon channel. Wife would love me for ever for Eastenders an...

Re: RE: Re: Good housing complex for children
arcadianagan mentions a good point, and there are obviously more things you need to look at, such as how old the development is and now many properties are built/still to be built, how many people live there 365 days a year as against how many properties are generally empty looking for rental (some...

Re: RE: Re: Niece in UK wants to be expat - finding work in Thailand
I have to say if I were young, Thailand would be a long way from top of my list of teaching locations (knowing what I know now, of course!). China? Maybe. Middle East if you want to make some money. Central/South America or somewhere like Honduras would be where I'd start. China is probably the wro...
