Re: Covid19 - updates on immigration and visa extensions
Thanks. I just read this (BP): 'It is questionable why the bureau let this reporting process run as usual even though the government earlier urged people to practise social distancing. Unfortunately, its online processing capabilities exclude those holding a 30-day tourist visa who wish to extend it...

Re: Covid19 - updates on immigration and visa extensions
I am due to extend my 30 day exempt on April 2.
Some Q's
Can the extension be done online?
Will they waive the fine if I delay?
Is there a number I can call?

Re: Covid19 - updates on immigration and visa extensions
Combining two groups of people by closing one office doesn't seem smart to me.

Covid19 - updates on immigration and visa extensions
Can we have a thread just for updates on Thai Immigration rules re visa extensions? I decided to avoid flying back to Australia, as it's an obvious added risk. I normally use the 30 day extension to my visa exempt status and do a visa run as required. There is a thread on the Thaivisa forum, but I t...

Re: Embassies urged to find English teachers
Example: In Market Village you can see a sign, for the rug shop downstairs close to the entrance, "Looking cost you nothing" ....... In your example, it's a simple matter of tense. It's correct as a sentence but probably would be better stated in the future tense. Umm, retired English tea...

Re: Massage no extras
Corner of Soi 72 and Sa Song Rd, next to Krungthai Bank. They don't generally ask, and nor do I. It's a bit more upmarket in terms of style, but standard prices.

Re: Emerald Scenery
The waste hills are 4 km north of Emerald Scenery, which is itself 3km south of Soi 112. So the waste hills are near Falcon Hill? Could you post a link to this/these waste hills. Nice to know exactly where they are https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Emerald+Scenery+Hua+Hin/Hua+Hin+Waste+Hills,+Unnamed...

Re: Emerald Scenery
The waste hills are 4 km north of Emerald Scenery, which is itself 3km south of Soi 112. La Lua Resort is next door on the western side. Both resorts are close to finished now, so there would be very few villas left to build. Rentals may be available, I guess. The main neighbour east is Banyan Golf ...

Re: Emerald Scenery
I like it. The area around is quiet and has a nice feel. We looked at City 88 and this project leaves it for dead.
