Indian food ingredients
On our first foray around the supermarkets in bluport and market village, there was a marked lack of international food ingredients, particularly Indian. My wife cooks a mean jalfrezy, rogan josh, Marsala, but we can’t track down any accompanying sauces for them. Does anyone know of a little deli wh...

Re: Price comparison FOOD - Hua Hin/U.K
It kinda cracks me up to hear you guys moaning about the cost of living in Hua Hin. I am currently residing in Dubai UAE, (I'm soon to move to HH in a couple of weeks), where a pint of beer or glass of wine will cost you in the region of 400-450 bht. You really need to start being thankful for the f...

Re: Retirement visa - bank account requirements for a couple
Sorry Nereus, i am referring to my UAE visa. Apparently, my thai visa cannot be processed by the Thai embassy here unless there is a t least 6 months on my UAE visa.
Dannie Boy - thanks for the feedback.

Re: Retirement visa - bank account requirements
So does my wife have to provide any separate documentation, other than my own, to support our non-immigration visa OA, or is it just my documents which need to be in order? The Thai embassy here in UAE requires at least 6 months on my visa, but my wife does not currently have the required 6 months o...

Retirement visa - bank account requirements for a couple
The Thai retirement visa stipulation is for a bank account containing Bht 800,000 min. If my non-Thai national wife is on the same visa, does the bank account have to be 2 x Bht 800,000?

Re: Seeking Musicians
Im a british guy retiring to Hua Hin beginning of Feb 2019. I used to be a pretty good guitarist (played in rock/pop/folk bands) but developed a joint problem with my hands so can't really play much on guitar anymore, but still keep the instruments on their stands at home - just in case - lol. I do ...

Re: looking for cleaning job
Wanlaya,
My wife and I will be moving to Hua Hin at the end of January 2019 - close to Soi 114 - and will be requiring a part-time house cleaning and ironing services (maybe 4 hours twice weekly). Can you please provide your weekly rate based on the above timings?
