Re: Effects of the UK heatwave on wildlife & vegetation

Just seen a report on the extreme heatwave in Spain, reservoirs dry, crops dying in the fields, shortages of sunflowers etc……. It would appear the UK is getting much better weather whilst large parts of the world are going to become unliveable

Re: Scoot Launches Gatwick to Bangkok at £170

Safety standards shouldn’t be an issue as Singapore, either the government or airline isn’t going to want any association with an airline with even the threat of being banned from Europe

Re: Labua development

Anyone care to update…… Looks to me as if it has changed into La Lua Resort…… TripAdvisor reviews seem positive …… loads of Instagram photos but always seems empty in the background…… Over the pandemic it appears there have only ever been a handful of properties either for...

Re: Wheelchair Access

Basement Food Court, Market Village Great post and on my travels around Thailand, admittedly I always have my break on my own, but I always look at disabled access and how easy it would be to bring my wife....... I’ve always thought Hua Hin was the easiest place I’d seen But I struggle pushing her ...

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues

The so-called 'elite' are not the ones spending money accounting for a around 12 or 13% of GDP. That money comes from short term 'holiday makers'. The 'elite' will never provide the cash injection that Thailand has been used to in the past. They have no idea! Big business around the world doesn’t h...
