I can think of at least 500 X 2 reasons why.
Maybe there's a couple busy side sois entering Phetkasem. Another heads up, if in the 120 kph zones, and you see the 90 kph posted for upcoming U-turn, you need to slow down, as reading they've been enforcing that lately.

Re: Solar power setup for your home in Thailand
I'm glad you highlighted this problem with grid tied inverters and power outages because I wasn't aware of that. I've been having a read on the net and it seems a second inverter is a cost effective way of at least having power during the day. I'm looking at solar on my partners shop and I'm not su...

Re: Making a good stew (Beef or other)
I miss the only "real" stew on the list - Lancashire Hot Pot. But seriously that is a very bad list, it doesn't even contain Goulash which is one of the best stews in the world. TasteAtlas ... before lists being posted on forums, I've never heard of them, so do wonder who is doing the vot...

Re: Solar power setup for your home in Thailand
Couple thoughts of recent replies about ROI. I don't think we use any more since we have solar, although I state we abuse the AC a lot. Do think we use it more than many, and probably less than many, and it's on whether we're in the house or not, unless out of town of course. No different usage when...

Re: Making a good stew (Beef or other)
No argument from, as a Massaman or Thai Curry (green or red) is first choices when dining at Thai restaurant. Non Thai, hard to beat a good beef or pork stew, and just polished one off last night at the house.
Been making Japanese Curry lately, and S&B Golden Curry cubes make it too easy.

Re: Solar power setup for your home in Thailand
The replacement cost of panels also needs to factored in to cost benefit calculations. Last time I looked (and it was 7/8 years ago), the panels would need to be replaced after around 9-11 years. It’s clearly a few years ago and I’m sure the whole solar game has changed a lot since then . But I’m a...

Re: Solar power setup for your home in Thailand
Has anyone done a recent review of the payback for having solar power installed - I’m sure that if these sort of temperatures become the norm then more people will want to consider solar? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes, we have solar, and use 500-700kWh a month (PEA units), just the house, ...

Same with TH, most come granny/emergency charger & wall charger, usually with installation included. Also have seen MG EP as taxis here/TH. Make sense as originally, one of the least expensive EV with good specs.

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread
.....I will stay rooted in facts, and keep my petrol hybrid. In that case why did you bother opening a thread about electric cars? I want to know which one to buy, not hear from everyone who doesn't want one! Does make one wonder, why start and or comment on EV threads if having no interests of, no...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread
Sorry to burst your bubble, but SMMT's forecast for 2024 new BEV,s sales is 414,000. 20,935 BEV's, 18,744 Hybrid's HEV's and 11,944 Hybrid Electrics PHEV's were newly registered in January 2024 alone! 414,000 where's the fall in those numbers? My EV easily does 300+ miles on a charge. Insurance is ...
