Cytomel and Synthroid
Trying to order Cytomel and Synthroid (T3 and T4 replacements for thyroid) into Thailand. The US, Canada and Norway prescribe it (made by Pfizer). Not Thailand though. Found a couple companies in US and Canada that ship it. Also something in Singapore. Anyone had it shipped here?

Re: Wise formerly Transferwise
Money is also at risk in Wise in various ways. I read that Wise only facilitates the transfer of funds, never touches the money and deposits the money using multiple banks for a given country. I recognized the major banks they use in the US. In the US, bank funds are guaranteed by the FDIC (Federal ...

Re: Electronic cigarettes/vapes in Hua Hin and Thailand
Wondering if Thailand collects license fees, taxes, etc from weed? Great way to build back up the baht reserve. Guessing no taxes/fees on vapes. Reminds me of prohibition in the US ( alcohol banned) - where the government charged people with tax avoidance… Also - was the idea of legal weed a sustain...

Re: Videos: Portrait vs Landscape Mode
This discussion is like my wife and I talking; lots of interpretations on both sides. On rotating a screen (TV) vertically, in the old days I remember using it with a laptop to read in portrait mode or horizontally to see 2 pages at once. These days, I read news and books with my tablet held in port...

Re: NAD IV in Hua Hin
Thanks for looking this up. My wife is looking into it. She tells me just the NAD IV costs $1,500 in the US, so maybe a relative bargain?

Re: NAD IV in Hua Hin
Something like that. My wife has tried the 10 I’ve series and I see an increase in her energy after. Our Dr. also takes the iv before she runs 100k marathons (but probably not relevant to any of the rest of us, just interesting).

Re: Thailand Censorship Thread: tilting towards Chinese-style internet controls
I’m wondering if this is headed to something like the Florida book banning where one person can complain and an item will be removed. Turned out that a small number of people had instigated all the banned books.

That’s my bet also. I find elections bring an optimism which doesn’t pan out as hoped. Thinking the baht may drop into August at least

Re: E-books and e-book readers
I use the free library service app Libby. Gave it my Canada library card and can read books and magazines with good usability and no adds. Can set character size, etc. holding my iPad in portrait orientation makes reading magazines easy. I like reading the weekly “The Guardian” from the UK and multi...

Re: At this moment in time...(expressions that P*** us off)
Another view of this is words I disliked that I now like. “OK” works in multiple languages, including Thai and gets me past many problems. I looked up the Etymology: originated as an abbreviation of orl korrekt , a jokey misspelling of 'all correct' which was current in the US in the 1830s. The olde...

Re: Thailand plans to decriminalize cannabis
With an absence of quality control you are open to having many things show up in the weed you put in your body. I’m much more concerned about this now that I’m older and things have more of an affect on me. That includes alcohol, weed, food, coffee, medicine, sex, sleep, marriage... Just going for a...

Re: Moving to hua hin condo/house recommendations
One great way of finding good housing in Thailand is simply to walk into various condo complex’s and see what is available. many decently furnished units are available with month to month rent and cheaper for longer terms. One realtor’s website currently shows 100s of units available in HH and this ...
