Re: IKTS 2017/2018

I'm still bottom . . . but closed the gap, i'll never quit! :D
In fact, even with such a dreadful start, I'm only just over 200 pts off the top

Re: The Rugby Thread

On that display, they'll steamroller any team - SA were far from cr@p, some of their line running and breaks were superb, just second best. They probably would too, unstoppable at times. As a Welshman, I have to look forward to NZ, SA, Aus & Georgia - we like to make things easy for oursel...

Re: GBP vs THB

Yes Brexit a thread would be appropriate , but as this is GBP v THB , Brexit does have a major impact on GBP , I doubt they will change over time , Germany will be hit hard but UK will be hit harder , in my opinion the GBP will tank as will the UK economy unless a Brexit reversal happens which I re...

They steamrolled the Boks, and the best ref in the world had nothing much to do, but let's see how they do north of the equator.
Probably steamroller the Baabaas, Scots, Welsh and the French too.

Re: The Rugby Thread

What's becoming apparent to me is that every match is no longer a walk in the park for the All Blacks. They're the benchmark and every team that plays them seems to have greater motivation and another gear they don't usually have. I don't know what their schedule holds after this Championship but I...

Re: Snakes in the house and garden

I have seen a bite from one of those centipedes, not a pretty sight I can assure you.
It ended up almost like an open sore ulcer on the side of the calf, took ages to heal too. . . . . beware and take heed of the warnings!!!

Re: Premier League 2017-2018

With Arsenal at Liverpool I honestly didn't see the performance or result as a surprise. Wenger was like a rabbit caught in the headlines. He doesn't know what to do. He has been massive for English football but his time is past. Neither did I see it as a surprise, or most Arsenal fans for that mat...

Re: Premier League 2017-2018

Wot,3 weeks into the season and no posts ! :guns: I thought Arsenals gutless performance against Liverpool might have had some of you writing in ? Just what was going on with Wengers team selection ? Why did he not start with record signing Lacazette ? For the second season running he's starting wi...

Re: Auto passport controls open, but only for Singaporeans

I went through this process at Heathrow, encouraged by the steward sorting the queues out.
Got knocked back at 3 different gates and ended up in a queue with the other refusals, which took longer than going the normal route. :?
Had it in Dublin too, so won't be rushing in for another go. :D

Re: Bringing Electronic cigarette to Thailand

- We went to the wrong place. Can somebody give a precise location; or - Does somebody know where else he might find them on sale? I haven't seen him for over 5 years, and he's turning out to be a right grumpy git. Don't know if this is the place you went to, but it's on the top floor of MV at the ...

Re: Bringing Electronic cigarette to Thailand

There is a place in MV that quite openly sells the e cigs and the liquids.
There are plenty of people vaping, including Thais, and I think the only logic against the ban is loss of tax money.
