Re: Instant Messaging

Most of my family and friends use Line and I try to get the ones who don't currently to use it. We think it's the best for texts, video calls, and sending photos. Works with phone service and over wifi.

Bartenders made it; some called it a red beer and some a bloody beer. It was actually pretty good. I wouldn't do it to a good be...

This thing is amazing; it's like the energizer bunny, keeps going, and going, and going!

Re: Restaurant for wedding anniversary

We celebrated many anniversaries at Supatra By the Sea in Takiab. My wife always loved the food and the view. Some, if not most nights they have soft live dinner music as well.

Re: Hua Hin parking

Ah, parking in Hua Hin. Probably my second biggest problem with living in Thailand behind the climate. The two are related of course because I don't mind parking far from something and walking if I'm not completely soaked in sweat by the time I get there. I now frequently park in the far end of a hu...

Re: The Pros & Cons of Using Aircon

A very good point about the humidity hhfarang. I have always sweated more during times of higher humidity, although I always found that was a daytime problem. It never really affected me after dark. Also interesting about the temperature the aircon drops it to. In our living room, the remote has a ...

Re: The Pros & Cons of Using Aircon

Yes Big Boy as you mentioned in your opening post, the heat (actually I've found it to be the humidity, more about that later) was the main factor that drove me to give up on living in Thailand. Like Dtaai-Maai I seemed to get less and less tolerant of the climate the longer I stayed there. I think ...
