Hurrah! The penny finally drops. Yes, the FED is NOT part of the government. Chart of who "owns" the Federal Reserve http://www.save-a-patriot.org/files/view/whofed.html If the Fed’s money comes ultimately from the taxpayers, that means we the taxpayers are paying interest to the banks on...

Yes - I agree with CraigDunn's post - the heir should go see a (Thai) Lawyer immediately. Having checked this out further - should a foreign director in a Thai limited company die, the shares (and thus the assets) and control in the company will not automatically transfer to the heirs. Officially a ...

Shares in a company can be inherited, but a directorship of a company can not. Presumably the 7 Thai shareholders were 'donated' by the office that set the company up for the deceased. My advice to the heir would be to go to this office and ask them to make the heir a director with majority voting r...

HHTel I think there is a home schooling support group in Hua Hin. I'm sure your making the right move getting out of that hell hole. You have 2 wonderful daughters and I can imagine their shock when they were confronted at their new school with the vulgar disrespectful British kids. What made you th...

IMO Bella Pizza Restaurant make excellent pizzas but the rest of their 'Italian' food is crap, (each to their own). Great fresh seafood restaurants at the fishing harbour. The new Grand Pacific hotel has a fantastic authentic Chinese Cantonese restaurant but of the 5 times we've visited, we were the...

The Celtic Bar is Celtic in name only. The original owner from Croatia was a mad Celtic fan but he sold it a long time ago. There is a "Lodge Bar" in Cha Am which has union jacks and rangers paraphernalia on soi Cattreya just off the main beach front.

Off the top of my head... I like the ball-in-hand pool rules adopted by most bars and players I like the fact the town and surrounding areas is big enough for new surprises and anonymity when required yet small enough to know a lot of people and where they hang out. I think Hua Hin lacks a nice publ...

I think the HHAD forum is fantastic and it's managed very well. Full credit to the moderators who allow controversial subjects to be expressed where other similar forums would not allow. I believe a large reason for the increase in stats are the number of views and contributors on the current affair...

Get well soon Chris.

I'd be happy to get involved in a pool night such as Wanderlust suggested and will happily sponsor Richard on his sky dive.

It would appear a lot of the regular posters on this forum are not mature enough to recognise a valid interesting subject, but rather fall into their narrow minded view of the world, resorting as usual to personal aggressive insults. It seems any mention of the word Jew and immediately one is on sha...
