A few publications are stating 4 to 5 more days until the water completely recedes from the highway. Pete

Re: Thailand to England move

   VS and to Parahandy as well on a happy anniversary. I struggle as well with "what was better...where I've been or where I'm am now?.." The great question of life. I'm a creature of change and revel in what's to come, but then miss what was. :alien: I'm sure it's going to b...

Re: Police checkpoints in Hua Hin

The new tickets have been announced and also allows appeals within 15 days. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/detail/breakingnews/30324462 That could put a dent in MIB abuse? Maybe.... :? The form looks too long and complicated to me. It's been a long time since I was given a ticket in any country, b...

Re: Thailand floods of 2017

It would be interesting to learn how full the Kaeng Krachan reservoir is after all the local rain and overflows from elsewhere. I've never seen it even close to being full personally or in photos, using the old high water marks on the banks as a guide. Pete

Re: Tennis players wanted

Sylvia, if English is not your first language re-post your request in your language in our NORDIC and EURO sections, if your language falls into those categories. Many here for the winter season from Scandinavia and other places in Europe and they may see your request in those sections before they s...

Re: CR2025 car keyfob batteries

Next great idea for a young inventor is a small rechargeable key fob battery. When driving you can plug the fob into the cigarette lighter or the USB port just like you do with a phone. Probably no need to buy a new battery for the life of the vehicle. Pete

Re: Minivan, bus and road accidents

The force of impact would have probably killed most anyway, but SO MANY fires which I can only chalk up to these LPG installations. Regardless if done to code or not, I think it's a damn dangerous system for a motor vehicle. How often do we see a normal gasoline fueled car go up in flames regardless...

Re: Thailand floods of 2017

Two observations from the articles and commentary these past two days: 1) The northbound lanes (to Bangkok) are worst affected. 2) They can't do any repair work to the river bank until the level and speed of flow goes down. I haven't seen any estimations yet on how long they anticipate the flow to b...

We have a 20 match grouping on IKTS this week, starting with a Friday match. :banghead: :banghead: I hate these and glad they only come up a few times in a season. They should give you two Bankers and two Security chips when this happens. :cuss: Pete
