Re: Refrigeration Repair Man
Just out of interest what were the problems? I had a freezer in Saudi that dumped, I diagnosed faulty thermostat easily found and replaced. As a point of interest did you know that if you use a domestic fridge in a garage in a UK winter it will control at around 3 to 5 degrees C when temperatures ar...

Re: Refrigeration Repair Man
Seems Big Boy has his problem solved so just thought I would add my 2 pennies worth. All have magnetic door strips, the idea of a vacuum is not unreal, my Whirlpool fridge expels all the warm air which enters when it is open and when the door first shuts. Thus creating a vacuum making it nigh on imp...

Probably lives or has been abandoned from house in Sunshine 2 or 3 or Nature Valley 1, 2 or 3. It is definitely a house cat (pet) and comes to eat with 4 other ferules 2 ...

Re: Seven year vehicle test for registration
Caused me to look at the small print of my MSIG comprehensive (1st class) policy. Obtained through AA insurance last July, the car's tenth anniversary as I took delivery on my 56th Birthday. 5 million property, (should cover any Benz) 10 million personnel damage per accident. MSIG also provide a mai...

Re: Seven year vehicle test for registration
My "new car" brought more than 10 years ago is insured through AA insurance in the Chomsin building. It still has first class insurance although the amount insured for total right off has not varied for the past 3 years. The compensation for injury etc has remained the same over the 10 yea...

Re: Thai Driving Licence 2019
Did my second five year almost 3 years ago at Cha Am. Immigration wants to know who to address the proof of residence letter too. Either there or Pranburi. Didn't have to do any tests and a medical is only required for first provisional licence. Go the day after your Birthday as you get 6 years. Got...

Re: Locations that serve a "good" Amercian / English breakfast.
Thailand does not sell field Mushrooms Most people have not even seen or eaten field mushrooms. The trick is to catch them before the flies attack and the maggots start eating. I know this because my crew at RAF Halton doing a daily perimeter check used to bring back a large bin bag full. A 12 inch ...
