Re: Buying a house in Hua Hin

Sydney Guy......................It's a fact that many people have been burnt....................Problem is that they have not been held properly accountable by the legal system in Thailand. The only reason that most of the dodgy developers are now finding it difficult to continue ripping people off ...

Re: Advice please, villa purchase - freehold or 30 year lease?

I would not rush to Chavilet, they charge a fortune, go see David at Hua HIn Lawyers in Macro car park. Also be cautious about setting up a company with Thai directors as is required, the government has recently stated they are going to crack down on this I have to agree with the comment about Chav...

Re: Thai bank: customer is wrong, go to another bank

Re: Fish and Chips

With Barry closing up on soi 80 we tried out the recently opened place near the Tessaban. Sorry but for us there was no comparison..........Barry served up white fish in a decent batter with home made chips, the new place didn't come close.

Our quest continues :(

Re: buying property

IMHO If your lease is registered and in order the developer would be hard pushed to take your home away from you for an additional work debt. Re: Taj mahal restaurant closed down????
