Villa Wanted for Rent 1 Year Minimum

A friend of mine is considering moving to Hua Hin in June for at least a year and looking for a nice villa with 3 bedrooms. Chances are that he will stay 2-3 years. He is willing to spend 20 to 30,000 per month. Location within 7km of HH centre. In the first instance you can contact me and I'll pass...

Re: Visa to visit China

I can help with this as I have recently done it. You need a resident permit in the country you live, otherwise you won't get a visa as you are classed as non resident, except from in your home country. For example, if you are a UK resident but living in Thailand short term on a tourist visa the emba...

Re: The new Venezia Shopping complex

I'm a regular at Venzia, or rather VM as I just stay across the road. It would seem to me that there's no chance of the place staying open and every time I'm there the staff are hanging around with little to do. I'm pretty sure there's not enough business going into the till. It's a shame about Vene...

Primary Schools Hua Hin

I'm hoping the Forum Members can help me with this one. Can anyone recommend the best primary schools in Hua Hin for a 7 year old girl? Currently I'm living on the north side, not far from the airport and looking for a good English based school for our daughter. I have tried HALIO but they don't hav...

Re: The new Venetia Shopping complex

I visited 4-5 times during my stay at the Boathouse and always spent money when I was there and did not mind the entry fee, once I knew I would get it back. For people living on the north side I think Villa Market is a god send and I was a regular during my stay. Unfortunately, a few of the comments...

Re: Hua Hin Golf Gossip

For anyone interested, I can get VIP access at many major golfing events. This includes UK Open this week, Masters, Dubai Classic etc. There's a big event in Istanbul coming up as well that I should hear about this week that all the top names are going to be at.

Re: Disneyland Thailand in Hua Hin?

I disagree and think there's a good chance this will happen. I'm heavily involved in tourism and know the benefits of what this would mean to the country. There's one thing for sure, it would not just be a Thai fun park as it would bring tourists in from countries all over Asia and beyond. At the mo...

Re: Kamagra

I have a load of friends that swear by the gel form. The tablets give you chest pains but the gel acts fast and has no side effects to their experience. You only need a third of the packet for it to start working. Yes, I have tried it and can confirm all the positive things I have been told about it...

Re: QROPS PENSION TRANSFER

There are some pretty complex points being made here and I was a fully qualified financial adviser in the UK for many years with a major company. If anyone has a pension fund in the UK and want to transfer to a QROPS then it's best to ask a solid company like Montfort International. They are bang up...

Re: Hua Hin Jazz Festival 2011

Check out the HH jazz festival site, it says it's in August. Ten years of jazz on the beach in Hua Hin, this year will be the 10th annual Hua Hin Jazz Festival. The latest dates for the 2011 Hua Hin Jazz Festival according to the TAT office are August 26 - 27, 2011. Note the August, two months later...

Re: Looking for Longstay alternative 5-10 months.

My mate has just built a new block of units behind the hospital and he is not going to be advertising them as it's more aimed at the Thai market but I know they are going to be good quality. I think they are cheaper than 10,000 and may be of interest to you. His market is for the medical staff at th...

Re: The new Bangkok Hospital in Hua Hin

I just want to say that I have read a lot of points on here about BK Hospital in Hua Hin and I have personally had a lot of dealings with Dr Mike. During my last visit to HH 2 weeks ago I decided to get a check up on a complaint I had so I could see myself what the service is like. There's nothing n...

Re: Hua Hin seems to be changing - for the worse

I don't know what everyone is moaning about! Sure the place is changing, it's getting bigger for a start but it is still very much a retiree place for more mature people as well as a seaside destination with some great golf courses. It's got too many plus factors for me to worry about a scrap down t...

Re: The banks MO in LOS when you want a mortgage

Farangs can't get a mortgage for a house as far as I know if it's lease hold. If a Thai wife then that's different but I know it's possible to get a mortgage on a condo.
