you might stop in khao yai which probably isn't halfway but is a nice area for and overnight and easy area to negotiate........it's a bit west of korat with plenty of reasonably priced hotels.......stop in at the chok chai steakhouse near pak chong for a big glass of great milk for your child and sa...

how many yrs

single, that price sounds about right .....the question is how many yrs remain on the membership? It shouldn't be too difficult to find one for sale in one of the magazine/realty sheets published in HH. Failing that you can always ask around at Berny's, i'm sure someone will have a line on one. As f...

reporting with 24 hr

I renewed my retirement visa yesterday out on soi 102 and while the nice lady was stamping my multiple reentry papers she said that I would have to report to them within 24 hours of returning from Japan later this month or pay an 800 baht fine. Little perplexed by this but nodded, thanked her very m...

misinformed?

Mr. Grove, I couldn't disagree more. I haven't eaten at Platoo in about 4 yrs as the service was always reprehensible and the food mediocre at best. On the other hand it it difficult to find a bad meal in the "village" and I eat there about 5 times a week!!
