Re: Thai passport renewal ... 10 years?
My wife's passport had to be renewed this week, and we just had exactly the same prompt service that Dannie Boy had. It was not a one off!

Re: 'How To' - Requirements for visa extensions etc
Has any member successfully used the income + money in bank method to renew a non o visa - retirement not marriage? I managed that one year. I was transferring money from the UK on a monthly basis, but as the transfer fees were high, I switched to the 800,000 Baht in the bank. Immigration accepted ...

Can anyone reccomend a local company in Hua Hin to look after a web page? There is an existing web site, but we need someone who knows what they are doing to look after it.

Re: Traffic fines to increase in September
The last traffic fines I had were all camera surveilance. I was caught speeding on highway 4 and going through a red light in the middle of Hua Hin, both 500 Baht fines. Paying 4,000 Baht is definitely a bit of a deterent.
I suppose the police personal 'fines' will go up as well.

Re: Thai national coming to visit farang at home (UK)
Word of warning to anyone undertaking this process - it takes 3 months after the appointment to get the passport and visa back so allow a lot of time and don't book your flights before you get it! From this I would surmise that due to a few no shows, they have 500 doses left over, and are giving away to walk ins.

The numbers immediately before and after mine are there, but mine is missing. My name is also missing from that list, along with a few others I k...

In Prachuap Khiri Khan province, Hua Hin Hospital has won praise for the system it developed to help foreigners use the provincial vaccination portal “Mor Prachuap Prom”. Re: Blood Pressure Treatment
I have had blood pressure problems for a few years. A couple of years ago I had a very bad cough, and read that the blood pressure medicine I was taking could be the cause. I asked the heart specialist doc in Bangkok Hospital, but like most of the docs there they are trying to see as many patients a...
