Re: Astronomy, cosmology and space thread

^ Hence the certain "Windows" for any and all missions - especially the likes of Mars and Saturn currently in the works. It also makes the Voyager(s) quite incredible, now out of our own solar system, but the calculations to "slingshot" around planets in the system initially? Tru...

Re: Premier League 2023-24

I want United to win or draw. Or get absolutely humiliated. Either or. Fuck sake. :? Anyway... As there was no F1 or Rugby on, I thought I'd watch this cr@p (Manure vs Arse). Why? Thankfully, there is the Internet to entertain myself (and no, before the remarks...).

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading

Well he is a twat but in this programme I can tolerate him - almost enjoy his childish pranks as he’s portraying how difficult it is for lots of farmers to make a decent living (I accept that some do, but an awful lot don’t). Maybe give it a try - you might be converted from how you see him in his ...

^ Sod's Law, no warning/notice and a day when I'm under the weather!! :cuss: Cracking views apparently just a mile or 2 form our place away from the lights and close to the witching hour... There was a chance to see yesterday, but the conditions just didn't allow. Yet another chance missed an...

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading

I can remember years ago when it was a case of “there’s no such thing as a poor farmer” now it’s a case of “no rich farmers”!! Well, I know a couple (small scale of course) who don't earn what they used to through the whole EU BS, but believe me are far from poor. As for Clarkson's Farm... Not seen...

Re: The Rugby Thread

Just to add to the above... Points lost are a major issue just now - Far too tight at the top for my liking. The Top 4 go through to the Playoff's (P1 & P2 play at home) and with one game remaining.... Bath vs Northampton is going to be the one for me, that's for sure! Exeter are a worry - with ...

Re: The Rugby Thread

Well, at least I'm not a Gloucester fan!! And even as a Bath supporter I refrained from extracting the urine from my dear life-long Gloucester supporting pal.... :neener: (no seriously, I did)..... Northampton 90 vs Gloucester 0    :( Yes, Gloucester gave up (a while ago) on the ...

Re: Premier League 2023-24

No idea if that's right or not, but there are definitely a few in the squad who've never quite cracked it at Spurs, like Bryan Gil and Sessegnon, and also a few who don't quite fit the Postecoglou high-speed high-press style, like Hojbjerg. Spurs will look to be up there in the top 4, challenging f...

Re: Premier League 2023-24

After today’s results the relegation situation is virtually confirmed with Sheffield Utd, Burnley and Luton going down unless by some bizarre possibility that Forest lose their last game (against Burnley) and Luton beat Fulham by more than 12 goals - not even a drunken millionaire would waste too m...
