Re: New deposit rules for banks
I’ve lived here for 12 years without a TIN, I hope I can manage another 12 but that might be a bit optimistic? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Me too just about but I believe expats use it to reclaim with holding tax and tax on interest on some investments. Also at least one financial investment...

Re: New deposit rules for banks
Tax ID Number, TIN, not TIM, have been available to Expats for years. Issued from the tax office on Soi 88 opposite Nanys. Ask for a form which is in Thai so take it away to have a Thai translate. Google the requirements but I think it's just the usual passport and visa copies plus proof of address ...

Just had Fish & Chips at Gary @ Sabsi Sabai, Soi 102. The best F & C I have had in Hua Hin. Barracuda steaks in a crispy batter and real homemade chips. Passed on the mushy peas (never been my favourite) but the side salad was excellent. At 320 Baht great value for money. Will be going back...

Re: The Beer Thread 2
This isn't going to help, but I just can't remember but it was a 2 storey restaurant and had a huge cold fridge with loads of english and continental beers in it. Could sit inside or outside. I can see the bloody place but can't remember the name. I am hoping for a eureka moment when it comes back ...
