Re: I think I need a border run?

What I can say with certainty though, is that it is still possible to do a border run via the border crossing at Kanchanaburi (spelling?). I know this for a fact because a Danish friend of mine went yesterday. Left here early morning and back late afternoon. He went with a private taxi from our loc...

Re: HD PRIME TV

Just logged on to HD Prime and there is a message saying something on the lines they are having server problems and will disable less popular channels until they sort it out after the New Year. I had to log on and off a couple of times to read it as it's not on screen for long. Not had any problems ...

Re: HD PRIME TV

I use it but the only programmes I usually watch live is the EPL football which is near perfect, very rarely any buffering or freezing. However, when a match is on Sky Sports and Bein I usually watch Bein as it is perfect whereas Sky sometimes freezes or buffers a bit. Try the speed test when you ar...

Re: Where to get a medical certificate

There was one just a bit North of the town centre traffic lights, on the left heading North, just after a couple of opticians and adjacent to a chemist, is that the one that's closed?

Re: Iceland in Villa Market

I have to say I wasn't really impressed with anything, I've since bought breaded cod and meat pies but the only good thing I have to say is that they can be cooked from frozen which is useful if you can't be ars*d to go out or the weather is bad like a few days this month. I won't be buying anything...

Re: Opening a bank account which bank?

I assisted a tourist to open an account with krungsri to buy a property by getting the 'notary' who did the transfer at the land office to create a dummy rental agreement as a rental agreement was sufficient in the absence of a visa that was about two years ago I guess.

Re: Artists Gallery/Shop

So yesterday morning I walked down Dechanuchit again, albeit on the other side of the road although that shouldn't make any difference. I came across one small gallery which was closed, it said on the door open 10.am and it was about 10.15. A few yards further I came to Unity as mentioned by Caller ...

If that's your best, I suggest you try harder :D It's a closed group, so it doesn't even let me view anything. Unless one of the other 54 members want your car, you're stuffed. Re: Artists Gallery/Shop

OK Caller, thanks. Is that where you got the painting of Hua Hin that's used on the cover of that pamphlet ? (I think it was you that owned it?)
