Re: Buffalo Bills
Well only a personal point of view of course, but I for one will not be rushing to welcome Bill back to Hua Hin. Only went in there couple of times a few years back and found him to be an extremely rude person. Particularly if you dared to criticise the food or servi

Re: Kims Kitchen
Once upon a time this was a friendly helpful forum that was always enjoyable reading and particularly informative ,for those of us who do not live here. Sadly there now seems to be a small minority of posters who take pleasure in posting sarcastic, demeaning and some times down right nasty replies. ...

Has Kim’s Kitchen reopened again. Went past the other night and lights were on. Went past last night and seemed to a lot people in there. Used to be one of our go to places, missed it.

Re: Thai Fresh Eggs
Does anyone know where the egg wholesaler on Soi 68 has gone. Just arrived and along with all the shops on that stretch is closed. Only the ice man still open.
Think it was Big Boy who used this place for him O eggs.

Also noticed last night that the owner of Chill Out bar has finally taken over the whole of the Poonsuk music plaza. Will miss the staff at JJs always friend...

Re: Your best eating places in Hua Hin
Surprised that you rate mini farm so highly. In the past I would agree but after a couple of disappointing meals have not been back. In fairness last time was couple of years ago. It used to have a nice ambience with the plants and flowers but they had gone and the last two times we were the only di...

Re: BamBams
Would be very sorry to see this restaurant go. Lovely family owned with mum,dad son and daughters all working in their. I hope it is them extending which would make sense because the kitchen was very small and must have been very uncomfortable for the mother cooking. She regularly had to go out fron...

Re: (Mini Farm) Low season effects on Restaurants
Getting back to Mini Farm this place has definitely lost its mojo in recent times, and sorry to say is now very over rated. The portions were that small on our last visit we asked if they had any 'sweets' as we were still hungry. As they did not serve puddings we continued our meal with a pancake at...

Sorry forgot to add that the offending firework was the 'box' type and the remains were retrieved by the Hilton security staff.

Re: Fireworks malfunction at the Hilton
Don't believe it was a deliberate act. We were sat by the wall about 20 ft away from the Hilton display when the incident happened. The big problem last night was the tide was coming in and the amount of free space on the beach was severely restricted. Exagerated by the room taken up by sunbeds and ...

Wander down 94
Had a wander down Soi 94 yesterday first for a long time. How things have changed. Had a large Chang in Joes bar - mistake at 109 baht most expensive on this trip so far. Small beers were same price as Binta. Had lunch at Khorat Kitchen very good food and decent portions and large Chang a more respe...

Re: Is the Hilton being renovated?
Unfortunately it is not possible to email the HIlton Hua Hin, direct, only the international central reservations. You can forward an email to Hua hin via central reservations but they don't reply. Only answer if you really want to talk to them is telephone. Talking from recent experience.
