Re: Hua Hin Brewing Company
Wishbeer in Bangkok is also a great place to order from. Not a brewery but stocks loads of different beers and has some great offers for beers getting close to sell by. Costs about 80 baht for delivery to HH via EMS.

Re: Global House store Hua Hin opening?
Sorry oakdale160, I should have said it is a big DIY store like a Thai Watsadu / Bunnings in Oz / Home Depot in USA / B&Q in the UK.

Global House store in Hua Hin
Does anyone know when the new Global House store just outside Hua Hin is opening? It looked as though they were quite far on and may have started stocking it but it didn't look open to the public yet. It is out of town heading towards Pranburi not too far before the Tesco store near the army camp. C...

Shipping container village?
I noticed what looked like a container village being constructed not too far from the Swiss sheep farm. Any idea what they are doing? Some three storey sections.

Re: Looking to buy a condo or villa in October
Don't forget to get info on all factors, not just price. Several people I know have been hit with higher monthly maintenance charges than they expected. Ensure you know what they are and what they include/exclude. Good luck with the search.

Re: Butchers
Sorry but I just can't agree that HH Ham & Bacon make great sausages. We tried their Lincolnshire sausage last week and can safely say it is one of the worst sausages I have ever tasted, Grainy & massively over salted. A neighbour also tried a different type of sausage and they also said it ...

Re: Ways to watch a downloaded movie on your TV
There are lots of ways of watching downloaded programs, as has been discussed, but just to add my tenpennoth's worth, we use torrent sites (mainly UKNova), store the dowloads on an external diskstation (a hard disk outside of the laptop/PC) and then using our wireless network play them on out TV usi...

Re: A new Indian Restaurant..
We visit Hua Hin every few weeks and have visited this restaurant quite a few times. The curries are always good, the tandoori chicken tender and tasty and the naan freshly made in a charcoal tandoor. The wine and beer are relatively inexpensive and the food good value. If anyone knows where to buy ...

Re: Fitted kitchens
I noticed that Index sometimes sell off their display kitchens at 70% off. A bit restricted I know, but may be lucky and find something that's a good match.

Re: Home Schooling
Hi DizzyThumps Before choosing a tutor you should also consider the curriculum your son is currently following - Australian, American, British or IB for example, to help you choose someone and/or a suitable support program to follow. At senior school level most teachers are subject specialists so fi...
