Try the Marriot, that might float your boat and be what you are accustomed to along with a further bewildering choice if needs be. I think the forum does a booking service for all sorts of hotels and is a decent way to sort it out from all accounts, caters for the grand and normal needs I think.......

Sofitel Centara Grand Resort and Villas

We are coming Hua Hin Oct for 6 months or so, but are looking to stay in a hotel for the 1st week, heard lots of great comments about this hotel, unfortunatly we have just found out there will be works at the Hotel in Oct, so a little concerned, Has anyone heard of similar hotels of same standard in...

We applied for our Qrops pension in December and was told we would receive it in April, its now July and we have still not received it....we was told April then May then June, then 1st July, and now been told it been sent to Aussie then they send it onto us, but they have no idea when this will be....

We are with IOS ( International offshore services) ..I did not mention for people not to use QROPS I simply said (So if any folks decide to do this be prepared for a very long wait!!! they also take 250 euros (in our case) to set up then 8% of the income ) I would advise people to release the pensio...

Ayudhya don's have a branch in MV. However, the branch at the main traffic lights in HH has now extended its business hours and they do speak enough English there. I've opened personal and business accounts there and have always found them very helpful. Ive took note of your tours Barry , will deff...

The Super Rich (Ratchadamri) seems to have the best exchange rate, has anyone had any experiences with this bank (do they speak English) ? Are they a small or large branch ?

Assuming you can't go yourself, I'd call the embassy - even for the Thai authorities, issuing a tourist visa should be a simple one-day affair. After we have done the run and are now coming to the end of 180 days, can we continue to do runs and keep applying for 60 day visas....Or do we have to lea...

It seems that some Embassies are asking for return airline tickets prior to issuing tourist visa, a friend of mine had that issue at Abu Dhabi a few months back. He did not have a return ticket, so he quickly went on-line and bought an Air Asia to Penang. Ok my intentions are to book a package holi...

Korkenzieher I mean are there many of this branch....Ayudhya bank as Crazy88 has said you can open with just a passport....I will be looking for accommodation when we arrive but just thought a great idea if we can put monies into account straight away without an address. PS is Tesco a small or large...

Thanks Crazy 88, this sounds good as we will be arriving with monies on a package holiday for a week, so we can deposit in Ayudhya bank straight away, as will need to look around within the week in HH to find long term accommodation .....Do you have the bank address or are there many?
