Driving in Thailand is not like playing roulette; it's more like poker where the deck is stacked against you.
Russian roulette. With five bullets. :guns:

The Thai way, if it can be done backwards lets do it. I have always wondered what they will do if you flash back and continue on, however being a sensible driver I do not proceed.
What does it matter. The falang will pay anyway. TiT

Re: Fortuner Car Rental 6 Months

The one scratching the car was propably me. On a narrow tarmac road I stopped to give way for a forthcoming truck. When turning back to the road I brushed a concrete pole hiding behind the high bonnet of the Vigo. When I heard the left fender contacting something, I felt a cold breeze blowing from m...

Honking @ Pala-U road

I have noticed that car drivers are honking their horns wheh driving up from town along the Pala-U road. Just when the uphill ends where the elephant hospital is. Is there some particular reason for this behavior? Practical, safety, religion?

Re: Bus Crash Near Bang Saphan

Yes.

With only two weeks driving xperience @ LOS, I'v learned to respect and fear everything with dual rear wheels or yellow plates on the road. (and of course flying rooftops). BTW, why does those VIP buses often drive in tight convoys, tailgating each another. It's real PIS to overtake them.

Re: Buying Ice Cubes?

Thanks for every1 for your help.

Extra thanks for Bee @ Naab Thong for filling up my box with those famous round holed cubes.

Problem solved.

Buying Ice Cubes?

Anyplace @ HH selling ready made ice cubes to public? I'd like to find a place, where I could go with my styrofoam box, and buy it full of factory made ice cubes.
