there is a massage parlour at Phetch Barber (diamond pub) near Thai famer bank though.

You can charter boats from Hua Hin for a days fishing (a couple of the locals organise trips - see Peter or Billy). Usually costs 500 baht per head if theres a couple of you going.

Theres no shortage of accommodation in that price range try .. Fulay, Pattana, Somm Wan, Euro, Subhamitra Hotel etc etc.

I have been meaning to go up there for months now but have never got round to it (still havent been to pala-U after 5 years!).

I'll rent a car in town and spend a few days in the park at some stage. I imagine is four times the price to get in for us farangs also.
