Re: Khao Tao Lake

OK, will let him know, may pop down there for a fish.

Strange restrictions, those are the best times to get bites!

Re: Khao Tao Lake

Are you allowed to fish in this lake BB? My son is back from uni for a month or so and wants to go fishing locally.

Re: Hotel near Suvarnabhumi

Kind of expected, Thai businesses don't do email and their websites are usually non-functional 90s editions - you have to do it all on social media.

Gold hits all-time high amid geopolitical strife Gold prices soared to an all-time high of US$2,450 an ounce on Monday, as a slowing inflation trend in the US increased optimism that the Federal Reserve will start easing monetary policy this year, while geopolitical tension in the Middle East is on...

I'm surprised the police team doesn't get more dodgy decisions awarded, considering how fundamentally bent they are and how bad the refereeing is. :duck:

I have emailed them, and will see what comes back. Yes, the transfers would be convenient!

Re: Hotel near Suvarnabhumi

Yes, should have specified budget. Agoda is telling me closer to 1,500 for my date. Just want something simple for 600-800 for one night near the airport, Suphan Lake place looks closer to that, unless anyone else has any other suggestions.

Re: Hotel near Suvarnabhumi

Thanks for the suggestions, neither website was working so emailed them for rates. BS Residence is beyond budget if Agoda is anything to go by, don't need anything fancy, just want to get my head down before the morning flight.

Re: Thai Football 2023/24

What are the 3 teams coming up? I stopped following Thai football after Covid locked us all out ... and not being able to get reliable streams on TV (can't stand all the incessant advertising and flash sales in the middle of games on regular Thai TV). Strange season with Prachuap on the bottom for m...

Re: Hotel near Suvarnabhumi

This is an old thread and links above no longer work. Are there any updated recommendations for an inexpensive hotel near the airport for a night? My usual place is a construction site.

Re: Slide fan recommend

Went to Home Pro during the week to look for fans ... got the usual HP story ... "mai mee" for the ones we wanted, only for show. The sales walla said it has been hot so decent fans were "mod laew, no satock." Easier buying online or in Global House.

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

It won’t be double the price in Thailand. Thailand ... triple. :duck: The prices of these things are still too silly for me, even with the "Chinese discount," and way too much tech to go wrong. Thais buy them for show show - a car is a status symbol, a fancy EV is bigger show. I read some...
