Re: BBC iPlayer

Trying to watch the North West 200 on iPlayer but getting the "iPlayer only works in the UK" error using Express VPN. Is this no longer an option? (was going to change VPN providers anyway when this runs out). Edit: seems to be a browser issue, it'll only work with Chrome. Edit 2: still no...

Re: Renewing a UK passport in Thailand

I used an agent and was advised not to use a UK card because the bank would want to call to verify the transaction. Used a K-Bank Visa debit card which worked (passport still not back after 7 weeks though so prepare for a long wait).

All the CJ stores stock Carabao beers, they own the franchise. Its a shame most of the bars and restaurants still only sell the 'chemical three' though.

Jeremy Clarkson has fired up his tractor again for the third season of Clarkson's Farm.

Two others I've got lined up are Granite Harbour, a Scottish police drama, and 16th century English whodunnit Shardlake ... I know, but not much new sci-fi about at the moment!

I am still looking into solar since our power bills (and almost everyone else I know) skyrocketed last month ... a trend that is likely to continue. I calculated our ROI to be around 12...
