Thailand has virtually given up on traditional methods of online business such as websites and email - it is all done on farcebook and Line indicating to me at least that they are only interested in domestic trade. You can even book hotels using Line now ... well Thais can anyway.

Thais arriving in Thailand on non-Thai passports will get a visa stamp and be subject to the same rules as foreigners (pretty much what BB said above).

Not sure where you read that lomu but its utter bullshit. I spent six months in England living off a Kasikorn 6 digit ATM card pulling funds from Thailand, worked in all UK machines but exchange rates varied a bit so you have to choose your bank wisely.
