Re: Elections delayed again, PM denies involvement

Where do you get 35% from, the following link indicates 5.73 out of 10 or 57.3%. This is the only government that has brought any stability to Thailand for years It was from the Bkk post a few days back, I can't find it right, now. It had dropped from the figure you quote. It's easier to maintain s...

Re: Elections delayed again, PM denies involvement

He can deny all he wants, but most don't believe him anymore. No wonder his personal approval rating is down to nearly 35% and diving. Slowly and almost imperceptibly, a mood shift is talking place and protests are increasing. The saga of Prawit's watches and obvious double standards don't help, but...

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall news, events and updates

I hate everything 'supercar' parking represents and it's everywhere. In Thonglor Sukhumvit 55, at J Avenue, which is a parade of shops and restaurants over 3 floors, with MacDonalds at it's start and VM bringing up the rear, they have such parking and now a bank has taken over half a dozen spaces fo...

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall news, events and updates

Not my efforts BB, the General Manager at the store dealt with it late last night and has obviously made further enquiries this morning.

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall news, events and updates

I've received another message this morning, as what has been going on outside seems to have come as a surprise to the store as well, but they have checked and it seems the Police put the barriers up, so nothing to do with Bluport whatsoever. So, no don't ignore the signs. And just to clarify what I ...

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall news, events and updates

She has had a reply, with a coupe of pics. The signs on the road are the responsibility of the local municipality but they don't seem to aware of any blockage? Here's a couple of pics they sent her: thumbnail_1516547241323.jpg 1516547235033.jpg Basically, they say heading south or north, just enter ...

Okay, my other half works for the The Mall Group (but not often at Bluport), but she will try to find out what's happening.

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall news, events and updates

On another note, it appears Bluport is in trouble. A lot of empty space there now. I'm not a regular visitor to Bluport, but I go there occasionally. Last night was the first time ever that I've seen the store busy with shoppers, as opposed to rubberneckers. We had to buy milk on the way home, and ...

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall news, events and updates

The barrier was on the road just as I approached the Northern side of the shopping mall. I too thought I would carry on to the Southern side. As I said, there were also barriers blocking routes through the car parks as well. It felt like a huge wind up, but of course, it wasn't. I'm sure it's still...

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall news, events and updates

BB, where exactly was the barrier? I often take that route to avoid u-turns and the like and I follow the road to the main entrance of the car park that takes you in at ground floor level the same as if entering via Petchkasem. I can't see how they can block a municipal road with a barrier?

Re: Naebkahart Road Restaurant???

There are lot of Tae Chiews in Bangkok. If you mean those from the Chaoshan region, that's where my other half's' family originate from. But she say's the Thai Chinese are from all over China. Hell of a coincidence, as we were just discussing this earlier and my reference to Bangkok was down to the...

Re: British Passport renewal company in Hua Hin?

For Gods Sake Caller the Key Visa service is excellent why knock it? Didn't know I was knocking it. I was just asking what I regard as a pertinent question. They don't mention this at all on their website. And if I am to let them handle my passports I would want to know what measures they have in p...
