Re: Premier League 2023-24
I reckon Kane is having 2nd thoughts (even though terms have been agreed), scoring 4 goals the other night and seeing the football Spurs are playing at present, still might be tugging at his heart strings In relation to Chelsea, if we finish in the top 6 this year, it will be an achievement from whe...

Re: The Pick-Up Truck Thread
Most of the pick/cab chassis type vehicles have leaf springs front and back, most dual cabs/top of the range vehicles have coil springs

Re: Flying to/from Thailand, latest updates
Hi There, has anyone any idea if the Air Asia flights from KL to Hua Hin flights are back in action.
Spent the afternoon trying to find info on Air Asia's new website and can find no info at all.
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas

Re: Beer prices in Hua Hin
It normally has a big sign outside that tell you how much the drinks are, so is up to you if you go in. If you cannot afford to pay 40-60baht for a beer, why would bother being there on holiday. I know its different for people who live there and are on limited funds, but even at 40-60 baht that is p...

Re: Emirates flight charges to BKK
Not sure if you have Qatar Air in and out of Bangkok, but I had to go to the UK 4 weeks before Christmas for my Mums Funeral. I got a return from Perth to London for just under $1500AUD which was pretty good compared to what others wanted so close to Xmas. Flew Perth to Dhoa in just over 11hrs, 2 hr...

Re: Blood Pressure Clinic
Julie, I had a triple bypass and main aortic heart valve replaced just over 4 years ago. I have to take various tablets as well as warfarin every day. I have been to Thailand about 5 times since then and have had blood tests done to monitor my warfarin levels, plus blood pressure checks and other mi...

Re: Pizza in Hua Hin
I am sure it has been mentioned but my favorite one is on the corner at the start of the street where the Hilton is (up near the Sofitel). It is close to where the Tuk Tuk s all sit and wait for fares.

Re: Guest Friendly Hotels
I have had some mates that have stayed in Jings The place is in the centre of the night life area, so not far to get home at the end of the night. They gave very good reports about the place, no extra charge for guests or problems with the place being friendly to their guests. Test idea before you b...

Re: Hua Hin Restaurant News
When I was there 4 weeks ago it was being totally gutted, so I would think quite a way from being totally finished still. When I saw it all the demolition was being done to the inside of the place so could not really see any sort of layout there to comment on what it may look like.

Re: Hua Hin Restaurant News
The wall between Bam Bam and Natcha Restaurant is gone. The guts of both places are stacked or piled. On Poon Suk,south of Bintabaht So which of the 2 will survive. Was only there about 2 weeks ago and ate at Natcha. Will be a shame if one or even both go as they have been there for a long time and...
