Re: Hua Hin's Finest (police in Hua Hin)

If you give them the opportunity, of course they will fine (or accept a bribe from) you. It's what police all over the world would do. Police all over the world accepts bribes??? I think you would put yourself in a really bad situation if you tried to bribe a Swedish police officer. And I guess the...

Hotels were exempt on their own beach fronts.
Not all hotels or all times. I've been to Anantasila several Wednesdays when they didn't have the sun beds on the beach. Guess if I saw any cleaning going on...

If you don't have PayPal
Or get Pay Pal. You don't have to deposit any money there. You can pay "through" Pay Pal by using your credit card at purchase time.

Re: Blue Lagoon Hua Hin

The pool is within the high rise blocks of flats. I guess that direct exposure to the sun a big part of the day is important to keep the temperature up. The air temperature in HH around February is in my experience usually slightly over 30 in the day but can some years go down towards maybe 22 or s...

Re: Blue Lagoon Hua Hin

That is good to hear, thanks. Anything 26C and above is fine. You shouldn't only take my word for it. It must be plenty of people here that can fill in there pool temperatures here. However, I have been to Thailand plenty of times, usually in the period from the end of January to the beginning of M...

And yes, what is the water temperature in January? In August it was 31-32C.
I guess it depends on the pool and which year but my experience is that in the end of January and in February it's usually well above 25 and sometimes even over 30. If I have to pin point an exact number I say 28. :D

Could the graphics card be causing these problems?
I don't think anyone can say for certain that it can't. So yes, it could be the card I guess.

Re: Locking Old Threads (Viewing Only)

Most situations could be handled perfectly well by starting a new thread One of the first threads I started after joining this forum was about supermarkets and restaurants close to Soi 114. http://huahinforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=19846&p=243823#p243585 Since I regularly visit this area I'm stil...

Re: Locking Old Threads (Viewing Only)

Then you don't have newbies wasting time answering questions that are a year or so old But is this really a problem? If someone adds new information to an old thread, this could still be useful information. If not for the thread starter, maybe for others. I have for example started threads on where...

Re: Restaurant inside Jamchuree, The Three Chefs

Sorry, couldn't help myself. I clicked to see a wonderful restaurant, and was presented with bins Very, very of topic but the first time we visited Hua Hin we rented a bungalow on this small alley, maybe 100 meters towards the sea from the bins. A small place with only two bungalows with absolutely...
