Of course, Hua Hin, being Hua Hin made things a lot harder, and that story is history, and documented at the start of this ...

Re: Songkran to become 1 month festival

No, there are always pockets of water still being thrown for several days, but I'd guess the majority is over. However, with today being a Sunday, and everybody off work, who really knows?

Re: Bangkok Hospital Development Work

Yes, that was a shame when they closed that entrance. It actually doubled the time from my house to the hospital.

Re: Songkran 2024 Road Accidents

As I said, the truth is out there somewhere, but us mere plebs are not likely to be told what it really is.

Songkran 2024 Road Accidents

Yes, they're back - I saw a couple of minor accidents yesterday. I don't think there were any serious injuries. Interestingly, there are several versions of the truth out there again. BBC World News were reporting 60 dead on day 1. Meanwhile, local press report this https://www.thaipbsworld.com/25-k...

Re: Football (not Premier League)

I guess the key point in the report is Argyle have now gone unbeaten in all three games since Ian Foster was sacked as head coach, taking seven points out of nine. Stories about Ian Foster's man management have been coming out. He literally squeezed the life out of a small club, punching above their...

Re: Bangkok Hospital Development Work

Oh good, from the front end of the hospital, you don't see that. I've been to the main entrance 3 times in the last week, and did wonder what would happen to parking cars. Thank you, that clears that mystery up.

Re: Bangkok Hospital Development Work

IMHO if its anything less than a multi-storey car park it's a crazy move. All of that hospital, and almost nowhere to park.

Most days of the week, that car park was full - its now a building site.

Re: Looking For New Tablet

Moving this thread forward now i.e. I have the tablet, and now realise, although I haven't spent a fortune, it is quite powerful. First thing was to enable it for all live Thai and Premier League football - simple. Next was to add my VPN - again simple. However, when looking for BBC iPlayer, it tell...
