Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
I'm sure that most of you 'savvy' foreigners, who have been in the kingdom for a while, will be able to find an 'accommodating' vaccine supplier! As you know, the sight of a few 'brown notes' is, often, irresistable. They're now suggesting a third jab in the UK before next winter for the over 5O's :...

Re: UK Tax Return
If you have income in the UK (army, civil service pensions are an example) you cannot be non resident for tax purposes. Incorrect - I suggest you refer to 'Double Taxation arrangements centre for non-residents.' Incorrect as an ex army and civil servant and Thai resident I suggest you post a link. ...

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues
At income of £26k per year it rules out quite a lot of people in the UK, not just students/backpackers, especially this year with furloughs and layoffs. There's more, which puts a visit even further out of reach: Medical insurance that covers COVID-19 with at least USD 100,000 in coverage for the e...

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues
Thailand further relaxes visa requirements for Europe and Scandinavia
The requirements for this type of visa are the following:
• Bank statement providing proof of income in the last six months equivalent to THB 500,000 (USD 17,000)
That rules out a lot of backpackers visiting Thailand.

Re: Major companies/industries in Thailand that may not survive Covid-19
As a casual observation, with gold prices rallying like they are and investors/people trying to find safe havens (like precious metals or the Yen etc.) to park their money, that tends to signal that a big problem/collapse is coming ... rough seas are ahead and few seem to have grasped how bad it co...
