Didn't notice a full on downpour like you get in Pattaya (thankfully) and thought it was only one official day of mayhem on 13th in HH (I know the bar area is not operating under official rules). Holiday period is of course 13-15.

Still, I will be flying to a drier destination this Songkran.

I would be concerned as to whether Avast, once throwing up a warning, is then asking you to click a link to fix the problem.

If it is then sounds like an adware problem as it may not be Avast, could be a virus. Then again could be many things.

I have Avast and don't get any such warnings

Can't be definate but yesterday the gf noticed 3 Hua Hin - Kanchanaburi mini vans parked together at the northern entrance to The Village Market. I would welcome a food section like at Central in Pattaya or Emporium in Bangkok, good choice of foods.

Villa is ok but not as good quality as the price appears to indicate.

Read an article about these machines years ago when I lived in Pattaya. That report was more about the quailty of the water which in many cases was unfit for consumption. The addition of the points raised about the mechanics now confirm why I have never used them. Obviously buying bottled water does...
